I know mine enough to chit chat with but we don't hang out.
Mostly they all work so unless we're all walking the hood at
some point its tough to get together. Although when Shane was
smaller I knew parents of the kids he hung with.

We have 3 "neighbors" that we associate with pretty
regularly...the lady next door, who gets our mail when we are
gone, the lady close to the end of our street and one on the
block behind and down the street from us. That's about it.

I have wonderful neighbors and it's part of the reason I love
where I live. We all have pools and our family has always
hosted the Memorial Day party, one neighbor does 4th of July and
another does Labor Day. When the kids were younger they were
all over the neighborhood. Lots of good times. I am sad to see
it end.

Were we moved to most of the Mobil Homes are vacation home so
when the neighbors come in we do hang out a little....

right now I don't have many neighbors since we moved into this
neighborhood that is under construction. I wave at the couple we
have met here, but no one really hangs around outside yet. I
imagine that will change as we all start to personalize our
yards.
