good morning.
we got home late last night and am dragging a bit. Church this
morning, taking DGD as DD has the early shift. keep DGD busy
until her Mom picks her up. she wants to paint a shelf for her
room, so may tackle that.

good morning ladies, been MIA I had a lot of activities this
weekend all fun, but I'm paying for it today. I have to help my
brother give an estimate for an awning, then I'll be home
resting and doing laundry the rest of the day. Need to recoup
for Monday.

ooooo still feeling puny...which is annoying. not much else
going on. took a bike ride last night. was gonna be 10 minutes
and ended up being 25 min and a ride to our friends who brought
us home = late. lol. twas fun and i did feel better. got some
pages done.
hey janet you setting all of us up with threads or what?

Morning chickies ... I slept in late, sort of ... I kept waking
up and saying good morning to my husband, then I'd shut my eyes
and off to la la land I'd go, I finally rolled off the bed at
about 9:30. LOL
Just posted my "One Little Word" Challenge, go check it out, I'd
love to have you all play this month.
Just laundry and a bit of picking up around here today, then the
DH and I may go out and look for a new vacuum, oh joy ... a
house cleaning gift for me. Spent most of yesterday morning on
Ancestry.com ... amazing stuff there, once you start looking at
records it's crazy what you find that you never knew, for
instance, I found that my grandmother lived on the same street
as my grandfather when she was 11 years old and he was 16 ...
now we know how they met, they were neighbors. Then I called an
Uncle in Washington state that I have only spoken to and seen
one time in my life and that was when my dad passed away in
1974, we had a great conversation, lots of questions and
answers, so happy I made that call.
That's it for me today ... hoping you all have fun with the new

We did church and breakfast. Then I ventured back to M's to
purchase a drawing notebook that I am going to alter into a
travel journal for my upcoming trip.
I will be making a baby mini album for my niece who is due in
Sept in the next couple of months. I have purchased some
precious paper to make that one. So I am doing a "practice run"
with the travel journal/notebook and scrap paper to see how I
want to fold the papers and attach things, etc...
Also i don't own or have access to a binding machine at all. I
thought about making the baby mini with jump rings, but I expect
my niece will be handling the journal a lot; showing it to
friends and such. So I wanted something with a more durable
binding. I am hoping this will be a good solution.

Sheesh...I totally forgot it is Challenge Day!!!
Got really triggered at church and had a few ah-ha moments with
it.
Then we did lunch/dessert. Just got home 30 min ago.
I guess I need to get boards set up for some of you! LOL!
