I just saw the new Basic Grey Journal at JoAnn's on Sunday, it's
similar to the Smash Books. I was tempted to buy one! Here's a

I did a Smash book for Thanksgiving last year and really like
it, it's filled with photos and ephemera, pics of Facebook
postings from friends, lots of journaling. I really liked the
BG journals but I think I would use them for "event" scrapping,
not daily life.

i have a couple. I am working on two currently and one I use for
work, so that's three. AND I have just purchased two Creative
Chaos ones from M's that were on clearance but i have not
started either yet. I think i like them better as they are not
spiral bound, so i can take out and add pages as i like.
