Do you or have you belonged to a scrapping Kit Club? Which
one(s)? Why do you like it or not like it?

no........kits aren't my thing. I tried a couple and was
disappointed both times. I like putting together my own stuff.

I have signed up for a few over the years. I just recently
subscribed to Studio Calico - its not expensive 29.50 plus
shipping, you get tons of really cool stuff., and its not girlie
or over the top stuff or full of flowers. I have used almost
everything I get in the kit and even ordered add on kits. And I
love the papers.

ScrapbookLoversDream was MY kit to get back in the day (we're
talking 2006). I got it for about a year, still have bits and
pieces. The StudioCalico kit - I got one and it IS really
cool. I am thinking of that for when the time comes that I can
okay myself some spending ;)

I subscribed to Club Scrap when I first started, but I didn't
like their papers. They were really thick, good cardstock, but
no patterned papers!
I was thinking about Studio Calico, do they allow a trial
membership? Resa, I never heard of embellishonline.

Sherrie you can pay a bit more and buy a kit OR just do the 6
months. You're gonna love them.

LOVE Studio Calico...I have purchased a kit or two from them.
I'm a kit junkie...love the challenge of putting together stuff
that other people have put together for me. I used to subscribe
to a couple...all have since gone kaput.
I'd like to subscribe again once hubby gets a job!

i met the owner of the kit club at a convention last august. she
takes stuff from varies name brand lines and puts them together.
and she has an inside track because she gets the new lines
faster than most stores and such. It is 20 bucks plus shipping a
month, she charges you for two months at a time to save you on
shipping costs. There was a free kit if I signed up at the scrap
all day event. So i walked out with two of the kits, she had run
out of the third one, which she is shipping to me at no cost to
me. The thing i liked was she always has an alternative kit so
if you don't do halloween, just as example, you can pick the
alternative that month instead. My reservation is that while i
really liked what she had at the event, I wonder if that will
continue. Also, I have been downsizing the past 6 months. I did
not want to get overwhelmed again with product in my house. I
am so sick to death of the stuff that is sold at M's and HL. I
wanted a change.
sorry for the rant. like i said I am kind of wondering if i made
a mistake with this kit club. i was caught up in the moment at
the scrap event.
