Good grief...i want ice cream. Just finished a ridiculous long
talk with one of my mom's sisters RE: Heritage photos that are
in demand that I had digital copies of (BECAUSE I SCANNED THEM
IN, NOT BECAUSE I *STOLE* THEM)...OMG this has been going on
what feels like ALL FLIPPPIN DAY.
I can't help it that Gram knew of my scrapbooking, knew of my
love for photography, knew I'd appreciate photos and she
happened to give me more than anyone else ever...uh, it's
because I APPRECIATE THEM. so I'm combining a ton of scanned
stuff for a CD - ((because even though I have an album just for
"old photos" on Facebook, nobody that wants them and is yelling
about it can actually right-click/save and print to Walmart)).
then they can all STFU and get over it.
       OK - END RANT.
Back to scrapping. I'm working on THIS sketch now:

Lynn, how was your trip? did you eat anything good while you
were there? you were in my old stomping grounds so I have been
longing for beignets and a cafe au lait from cafe du monde's
       since you mentioned your trip.

WOW!! April gorgeous page. love the 2nd sketch also. Of course
I was not able to scrap yesterday. Digi was out of the
question, Monica was doing homework all night on the computer
and just when I got ready to sit at my messy desk Natalie needed
help with homework. FUN!!! Today I don't think I will be able
to scrap. Maybe just clean that desk. ;D

ooo Resa - we ate at Chef Paul PRudhonnes - twice. His food just
explodes in your mouth with favorful goodness. River's Edge on
the Square has the greatest Jumbalaya Omelets and had some Gumbo
at Cafe Portblo (?) on the opposite corner of the square. Didn't
go to Cafe du Monde though - its always really crowded and by
then I want to eat someone's right arm off. LOL!! Also didn't
make it Acme Oyster because they were really REALLY swamped -
went to Felix's Oyster house instead. You totally can't screw up
oysters (or can you) lol! Cruised Bourbon Street a few times and
I was surprised at the lack of jazz bands - only Preservation
Hall and that was packed. I stayed mostly in the Quarter this
       time.
