When your kids were little and those of you who have little ones
now, or nieces and nephews.
Do you give them a little craft to do on Thanksgiving?

Now we only have 3 little girls that come and I have a little
picture frame they will decorate. But when the big ones were
little they use to all decorate a Christmas ornament. It was a
lot of fun and I still have most of them.

I think my DD is still to young for a craft on Thanksgiving she
is 14 months old. What do you think?

we have always done board games at the holidays. a couple of
rounds of candy land or whatever is popular with the kiddos at
the time. They are all grown up now, so we generally play Phase
10 or Scrabble.
The youngest one is in florida and she is just coming into uno.
so the next holiday we spend with her will probably be that one.

You know, I like to think of myself as someone that hasn't grown
up from the "kid" table yet. I play at any given opportunity.
Haven't done projects on thanksgiving day in specific though, at
least not on purpose that I can recall ;)

a couple of times when Katie was here I had her make simple
place cards. I didn't think to do it with my own girls though
