Greetings from Florida

Hi, I'm Peggy. Originally from South Dakota, moved around the
midwest with DH's work. We ended up in Ames, Iowa with his
computer software/hardware installation company. We sold it to
a public company and retired to Ocoee, Florida. We moved into
our home here in August 2003. Both our DD;s live nearby -
oldest is a housekeeping manager at a Disney Resort with crazy
hours Her DD and our only grandchild (Katie) spends a LOT of
time here, so much she has her own room. Youngest DD was
married this past November to a guy we adore, he's an engineer
and fits into the family perfectly. DD also works for Disney as
a college program recruiter. The traveling is starting to burn
her out now that she's married and hopes to start a family some
day.
I've been scrapping since childhood, but when I noticed many of
my older photos damaged with acid burn I started looking for a
better way to preserve them. I love the creative outlet and
looking back, especially with Katie. She LOVES history and
hearing about her ancestors.
I can't wait to get to know more about everyone on the board.

I've never been to Florida ... maybe my next trip should be
there so I can check it out for possible retirement locations.

Tania - we looked at several states when we were thinking of
retiring. then when youngest got her job with Disney it was a
no brainer to move here.

Oh yeah...I am SOOO retiring in a warm state! My Dad often
visits the Villages...now there is the place to retire!!! Soo
much to do!
We will be in Orlando for a week in April of 2013. I already
can't wait!
