Katie's lunch is packed and will be walking her to school in a
bit. have laundry piled high. Katie has dance after school.
Katie's teacher sent home some laminated things to cut out, hope
to get those done today. I'm thinking leftovers for dinner
since the refrigerator is full. DD is working late & Katie is
sleeping over. We' challenged each other to read more and watch
less TV. She's really into "The Familiars" right now, so maybe
she can finish that one this week.

oooo DH came home last night and I have a pile of laundry to do.
Have the doors and windows open in anticipation of the wind that
Sandy will be blowing my way. Perfect for getting rid of those
pesky dust bunnies.

Well I'm up ... after a weird night, weird sleep and a headache
that woke me at about 3:30 a.m. ... two advil later and some
extra rest and I'm feeling better. DD and I are off to do a bit
of shopping in a bit, she has a few things she needs, so we'll
be on the hunt. This is her weekend, so we'll try to make the
most of it.
We had a winner last night for my RAK/Giveaway ... go check it
out to see who the winner is.

Yay, it's Thursday, one more day of work before the weekend!
It's really cloudy here today, I haven't liked the forecast for
Hurricane Sandy. I'm hoping it goes out to sea and doesn't hit
the Delmarva Peninsula (where I am).

Good afternoon, I just got out of bed.
Had to drive to Orlando Tuesday night, Daniel had to have an
emergency appendix surgery, and I just could not leave him there
alone. Got to Orlando at 2:00am he had already had the surgery
and was up when I got there. He never asked for me to go but
when I got there, he could not say thank you enough. Drove back
last night and I'm still tired. He is doing well and he has two
great friends who are taking good care of him, plus he has never
been a baby when he gets sick.
I was gone one day and y'all should see this house. Why!!!

Diana - so sorry about Daniel. DD#2 had to have her's out
while we were on vacation just before she started Kindergarten.

Oh goodness Diana ... sorry for the emergency trip you had to
take, but sending get well wishes for Daniel and hoping that his
recovery is quick.
