Continuing in the blog website vein....how it pertains to
scrapbooking.....other than getting your pages up there, have
you found alternative uses in your blog?

Actually I found that blogging - especially my travels, its
fresh because I try to do it realtime, so when I get home and
look back on my blogs - its actually a s/b page already and all
I need to do is put the pictures and "journaling/blogging" on
the page and I'm done.
I've also discovered people MORE talented than I have used their
blogs for tutorials and teaching. I've taken advantage of one
from Shimelle.com which I need to finish up and I'm looking
forward to do a couple more from her and others.

blogging does assist with journaling, particularly if you're
doing that stuff on-the-go!
I found what I think was my "original" blog from "way back" ---
that was HILARIOUS to read, but it also had a lot of
info/dates/times/goings on that I had forgotten about :)

not really, I'll put my layouts and cards up, once in a while
another altered project or quilt - but that is it.

I started my blog as a place to put my layouts, but it turned
into a life journal when DH got sick with pancreatic cancer.
Then it became a way to stay in touch with family/friends, to
let them know what was going on without having to repeat the
same story over and over by phone.
I'm trying to post again but it's hard. Might need a little
more time.

hubby and I are both from rather large families. My blog started
off with just layouts. But now I keep everyone up on our new
house progress, my book club reads and I am setting it up for a
tool for my classes. I like working with the blog, but wish I
had more time to devote to it.
