101512 Scrappn that Stash

Ok this month we are gonna dig into those scraps -
you know that huge bag of white scraps you have over there.....
You know where I'm talkin about.....
Uh huh - thats them!
So we are gonna alter/use some white scraps.
I have a couple examples for you.
On the 1st one, I used one 12x12 black cs, and the rest are
white scraps.
I made a white shaped mat for my picture , and my journaling,
that I chalked.
I then stamped various "skeleton leaf" stamps with Versamark,
and then I had a great time with my chalks.
I covered them with ModPodge, and then bent them for character.

On this I actually used 7 different punches on this page.
I tore, I randomly used a border punch,
I punched birch leaves and made the poinsettas on the left,
I punched my mystery punch for the poinsettas on the right.
I punched stars and Christmas trees for the lilies of the
valley.
I used nothing more than white paper, a doily, some beads, ...

SO, my challenge to you is
SHOW me what YOU can do with some white scraps.........
Uh-huh....
YOU can do it........

I have to say - this was a ridiculous amount of fun!!!
I used a chopped up piece of watercolor paper (planning on
watercoloring, but not doing so) -- mist, masks, tracing shapes,
freehand drawing and OH YES -- I HIT LEAVES WITH A HAMMER to
transfer the pigment -- the long strip and the purple-ish
looking color?? hammered red leaves. VERY interesting (and I
got to use a hammer, which is just flippin awesome anyway).
Thanks for this !
