Do you sew? if Not do you wish you did?
I have a basic concept, but I really wish I could sew more.

Yes I sew, but wish I didn't! I dont really enjoy it. But the
family knows I can so when anything needs fixed or sewn they
come to me!

I used to make ALL of my clothes. Once I bot co-ordinating
wool, spent $100 (1980~~~) and made 3 solid pants, 3 solid
skirts, 3 solid jackets, 3 plaid pants, 3 plaid skirts, and they
were all mix and match. Then I quit smoking and got fat. SO I
gave up sewing,,,, would have to start over with patterns, etc.

I've sewn all my life, my mother taught me. Haven't done any
lately simply because it's much cheaper just to buy my clothes
off the rack. When my girls were little I would make them all
kinds of dresses and jumpers, I made the drapes for my bedrooms.
I'd rather spend my time scrapping!

Not really anymore ... I have in the past, but I wasn't very
good at it so it wasn't something I pursued as a hobby.

I learned to sew in home ec. and I loved it. I used to be able
to factory sew- NO pins and I used to make a lot of my clothes -
especially for the office. I also embroidered, did counted cross
stitch, and krewel - until I couldn't see the itty bitty stuff
anymore.... LOL! And I loved it all.

yes I do and I really enjoy it but rarely have the time. I do
NOT mending cloths however and that seems to be all i get to do
anymore.

yes I do,used to do it a lot more when the daughter was growing
up.... now mostly mending and an occasional craft. I think of my
good ole days alot at this time of the year,since I always made
the halloween costumes for the kids. You know,they came up with
the idea and I was supposed to make it!!!lol

Yes I do - even got a new machine a couple of years ago (the
first one I received was when I graduated from HS - I'm now 57)
LOL. I used to make my clothes - my mom did all my prom
dresses. I did flower girl dresses like 14 years ago for twins.
Now I just do square things like pillow covers, aprons, or seat
covers. Or a scrapbook page. :-0)
