Hello from Iowa

Yep I live in Iowa, just can't say I'm from there yet even
though I've been here for 4 years! I grew up and lived most my
life in the suburbs of Chicago. It feels like I live in the
Sticks...and I think that is an accurate descriptor since it is
a min 45 drive to my closest LSS!
Anyway, I've been scrapping for over 14 years now. How can that
be!! My style has evolved over the years and I have to say I'm
more of a simple/linear scrapper. I think it is my engineering
background peeking through. I was a civil/structural engineer
turned computer geek. Now I'm retired with a hubby, 3 and 9
year old, and two dogs. And in case that wasn't enough, I teach
part time at the local community college!

welcome Janet. we lived in Ames for 15 years -had a computer
software/hardware business there. then we sold the business and
moved south - sure don't miss the winters! thank you for
starting the board
