ATC 9.1.2012: *Americana*

GREETINGS Scrapping Minions!!!
It's been a while - so my challenges this month are rather
laid-back and on the easy side. Don't worry - It'll catch up
with you later ;)
9.1.2012 ATC Challenge is in honor of Labor Day -- *Americana*
is your theme.
I started out with a piece of 2.5 x 3.5 chipboard as a base. I
used red/blue mist and did an acrylic paint wash with white
paint (I actually did that first, before the mist and after). I
used a masking technique then for the heart and the USA...and
added some TimHoltz ink for a rustic-type look. my "i" made out
of a Ki Memories American flag and rhinestones and fibers
(compliments of Lynn -which came from Great Balls Of Fiber
which OF COURSE she now wants back because I used it *snort*

COME ON AND PLAY ALONG --- it's 2.5" x 3.5" --- can it really be
that difficult??? :D

"Artist Trading Cards"
You create the theme onto 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 inch base, which is the
same size as a playing card.
Some people trade them. Others like me add them as a feature on
a card or layout.
they are definitely scrapping in small scale and a good way to
try out new techniques you might be interested in.
