A robotic hand stops star lord from continuing. He looks and
sees a woman with black hair that comes to her ear. A large scar
that goes from the top of her brow to the middle of her cheek.
Her bright blue armor shining from the sunlight
"Commander." I say

He scans the room and sees a large man polishing a gating gun.
His orange and green armor and helmet do as much damage to the
eyes as the gun would

I turn and look at the three
"I'm carter, noble teams leader. That's Kat noble 2, Emile and
George 3 and 4. Noble 8 will ride with me." I point at prep.
"Noble 9 will ride with Kat. And Noble 7, you got 6."
He steps out of the tent as they follow
"I'm not gonna lie to you. Your stepping Into shoes no one, even
you, want to fill. Me? I'm just happy to have noble at full
strength. And 8? I've seen your file, even the parts ONI doesn't
want me to. I'm impressed." He steps on a pelican as noble 8
joins him.

I step on my pelican and see three marines and Kat sitting
there. The silence is defaning.

I sit next to 1, If he says he's impressed, then that means he
might not be somebody I've seen before. I should try and get to
know this guy a bit better then.
"So... Do you prefer Carter, or Noble 1..."
I feel awkward not being able to tinker with my Shield generator
or drive gun.

I look at noble 8 and stare for a brief moment before I put my
fingers to my ear
"Listen up noble team. We're heading to a downed relay outpost
about 50 clicks of vigegrad. We're gonna introduce ourselves to
who've disabled it then we're going to get into the facility and
Kat and Noble 8 are going to get it back online."
