Just relaxing (April Read)

After getting home and spending some time with Aidin a little
bit before letting him go with Punk just catching up with the
family was more than what the road meant at the time. And the
ultimate drive that kept the never die or give up attitude
goin was when with his son everything seemed possible more
than any other time. After a night alone Joe wakes up walking
out of the room a few seconds and stands by the window just
stareing out. After a few minutes he walks back in with some
coffee sitting on the edge of the bed waking her up and
hands her a cup.
Joe: Yeah I know you need the sleep.
He laughs
Joe: Listen .. You know Punk was havin fun earlier with
whatever he was goin off about. I never said or mentioned
anything to him about that never was brought up one time. Hes
always stirrin that up so if you wanna punch him once please by
all means do but knock him out when you do and he'll shut up
about it.
He gets a drink and smiles lookin at the floor.
Joe: Seriously though it was good being able to come home and
actually not get pissed off for some reason and bust
something. Loved knowing the minute I came in the road didn't
matter anymore and it was more to focus on. The road when I walk
in now is gone until next time of going for a few days. Just
as long as I know it takes care of you three and im including
your daughter in that then its all that matters to me. I
don't care about myself out on the road but if it takes care
of you all im perfectly fine with it. Just as long as you all
can handle the fact im gone a lot which in my opinion sucks.
But to me worth it for you all..
He goes quiet a few seconds and looks over at her.
Joe: I don't have a lot to offer you know that. Through
everything that's gone on to dealing with other stuff I
don't have a lot to offer to keep you all happy. Im just me and
this is pretty much what I got maybe one day I can give a lot
more than right now. I cant take back the past and what ive
done in it. Wish I could but I cant I would change that all in
a second but I can make a promise that is more real than any
time before. You know how I feel I don't think I need to go
thtough that all again but every bit of it is true. So im just
gonna take a chance here ..
He reaches over opening the drawer on the table and kinda
looks down with a small laugh.
Joe: I know I gotta be crazy for this again but to me its
worth it and nothing else matters. Like I said I gotta be crazy
for asking this. But as I said when punk opened his mouth
theres something else I wanna do before the other. So I guess
im askin you if you'll give me that chance one more time im
not just talkin with how things are now im talking from now
forward. Im not good at this stuff I pretty much shut down from
before. Theres no bridge and its not one date but still
short or long enough to kill me and you know I hate taking
things slow.
He laughs and takes a box out and looks at her.
Joe: Will you give me that second chance that a lot of people
felt involved them as well both ends ive said it before not
just one. But this time its about no one else. So I guess
ill straight out ask im asking for a chance at more than
just this pretty much but its up to you if you give me that
second chance. So will you give me a second chance at
everything and marry me one more time. Im more serious than
before I want this but you have to be the one to tell me for
sure so will you?
He looks away a second then back at her.[/center]
