Your guide to contributing, collaborating, and surviving the

The Scarletverse thrives on creativity, collaboration, and
controlled chaos. These rules exist to ensure that
everyone—newcomers and veterans alike—can enjoy building and
exploring this alternate Remnant in a safe, inclusive, and
organized environment.
Below are 10 core rules. Please follow them to keep the Verse
strong.

1. Respect All Members
Treat your fellow writers, readers, and creators with kindness.
Critique ideas, not people. Harassment, bigotry, or targeted
insults will result in immediate administrative review.

2. No Godmodding or Powerplaying
Your character is not invincible. No auto-hits, no controlling
other characters without permission. Collaborative storytelling
requires mutual trust and narrative fairness.

3. Mature Themes Require Warnings
The Scarletverse can touch on dark topics—trauma, war, identity
struggles, etc. All posts featuring sensitive or mature content
must include appropriate warnings and spoilers.

4. Lore is Flexible, Not Fragile
The Scarletverse is a sandbox with a shared foundation.
Interpretations may vary. Conflicting timelines, alternative
takes, or "AU-of-the-AU" versions are welcome—just tag
accordingly and respect others' creative space.

5. No Canon Policing
This is not mainline RWBY. We operate on diverging lore,
timelines, and headcanons. Don’t argue over whose version is
"correct." Debate ideas, not ownership.

6. Character Sheets & Approval
Post all major characters in the Character Vault thread before
inserting them into storylines. Admin/moderator approval may be
required for certain factions, powers, or legacy positions.

7. Tag Content Appropriately
Use [AU], [Canon Divergence], [Mature], [OC], and other relevant
tags to help readers navigate posts. This helps keep the archive
readable and accessible to all.

8. No Plagiarism or AI Spam
Write your own work. Collaborative use of tools is fine (e.g.,
generating outlines, stats), but wholesale AI text-dumping or
copying other users’ content is prohibited.

9. Listen to Mods & Admins
If a mod asks you to revise a post, edit tags, or disengage from
conflict, comply respectfully. We’re here to help keep things
flowing smoothly.

This is your playground. Your sandbox. Your universe. Whether
you’re here to build lore, draw art, write fics, or meme with

Well, now. This is neat forum. Seems like I'm the first one here
so I'll introduce myself!
My alias is BreakerofCanon, you might know me as the person who
wrote Emercury inspired by SotPSoH. And my favorite RWBY
character is Mercury. I found this place out through the Ao3
page and yeah! Hope to meet more of you guys.
My hope is that by joining this forum, I can write more things.
Maybe not just for the Scarletverse as it's called but more fics
in general.

This is so cool though, I've always wanted to have a forum
specifically for RWBY. I've tried SB and SV (Sufficient
Velocity) but the vibes they gave off was too stuffy. So yeah, I
hope I can contribute!

I'm so glad you liked it! I plan on actually posting my ideas
here and I wanna know what you guys think before I post on Ao3.
Having some people act as proofreaders help a lot since I'm
dyslexic.
