Goddamnit. Such a winnable game. Led for most of it, then
Policelli sitting for so long and all the fouls called against
us in the second half killed us. TSM's career game deserved a
       better ending.

great effort tonight. this is a very, very good hofstra team.
im a bit worried about foul trouble (this is a recent
development for us), given our short bench. that and clearing
the ball, specifically against any type of press.
not great to go 2/14 in the second half from three, but i
thought we largely took reasonable attempts and limited the
damage. id like to have a few of those back of course, given
       this was a 68-65 loss.

Tough loss. Played great D for first 30+ mins. I felt we lost
the game when we were up 5 midway thru 2nd half, and missed 4,
3’s in a row (one was a desperation by TSM with shot clock
running out). All downhill from there. Hofstra is a real good
team, and we came close to the upset. Great bounce back game
from TSM. Frankie just didn’t have it tonight.

Roberts ball handling in the second half kept me on edge the
entire time. Toby had 7/8/2 in 19 mins while Roberts was non
       factor offensively.
Even with the dud offensive game Policelli still cleared 10
       boards and 6 assists.

Policelli off offensive game doomed us but what a battle great
       crowd.

Hofstra second half 17-19 FTs SBU for the game 11-15. The refs
got involved handed it to Hofstra.

Went to this one in person. Good to hear TSM, Policelli and
Pettway all have eligibility. I thought Pettway really was a
factor defensively on Estrada. Needed a few 3's from Policelli
to close out the upset but overall thought it was a really good
showing for us. Thought the crowd was as good as we've had in a
while energy wise. Think the Hofstra rivalry will be better for
the program long term than albany/vermont was given the
       geographical proximity.

Snoozeday article this morning said it was a sold-out crowd of
4003. That's a total lie. I sat in my usual season holder seat
and there were plenty of empty seats all around me, and across
to the upper section. I would guestimate the attendance to be
around 3500. Close enough I suppose, but I don't like liars!!!
This will be my final time as a season ticket holder for
Basketball at SBU. The same holds true for football. Suppose a
total change was to happen. ie; SH, Chucky Cheese, and Geno Ford
get the boot then I may return.

the game was not soldout. It was a good crowd but that was
because it was hofstra and not stony brook. It wasnt even close
to a sellout unless sny bought the remaining tickets. :)
Hopefully that was the last we see of geno here but who knows
       with heilbron.
