W&M coach said something to Geno during the handshakes that Geno
took exception to. Fortunately, I can read lips, “Good luck Geno
finishing out the string. We have a couple of Jr High coaching
jobs available in VA, if you’re interested.”

       Avoided a nearly disastrous collapse.

of course we won. we only took 19 threes (and, none in OT).
and many of them were good ones too, which is reflected in our
       %.
2nd half down the stretch, every time we scored, W&M came right
back. we went into a zone and i think it worked (?).
i question some of the situational awareness but great effort
tonight. 14 assists. that's high for us i think.

I don't want to rag on TSM because he's our best player and you
don't expect a 90% FT shooter to miss two in a row in the most
crucial moment. So to look on the bright side, it helped
Policelli get his 10th rebound in OT for the double-double?
Fitz has had such a great stretch recently.

Well we are right in the middle. 6 teams above us and 6 below in
       CAA standings.

Would be great if we could win 1 of the remaining 3 games but
       that will be tough.

id almost rather lose these and get an upset in the tourney. i
think this team has a limited # of wins left and is so
inconsistent, that were not going to beat hof, wilmington, CoC,
       and then win tournament games.
i think the entire tourney is at a neutral site, no?
i alluded to this above but losing another 1-2 games may be the
difference between- for example- facing towson, drexel, or
wilmington. not a gigantic difference, right now at least.
       these are guesses of course.
with that said- there are so many 5-9 teams, 2 losses can drop
us very, very, very quickly, depending on what other teams do.
then we'd have to play CoC again, likely a loss.

Fitz keeps doing what he’s doing plus a TSM Policelli hot night
this team can stun someone. But its little 3-4 minute meltdowns
       that worry me.

We have the hardest final 3 of any team in the conference, which
is why losing handily to Monmouth, Elon and Northeastern at home
(all those supposed easy-feeder bottom teams) was inexcusable.
