yes, the policeman had a huge half. he's been a force on the
boards (is it me or is that out of nowhere?). and scoring, and
shooting, and driving, etc. he creates and does more. he's the
leader of this time with TSM sidelined.
but have a look at posecki's stat line. 0/4 from three, 11/16
from two. what would you rather have, 22 points, or a chance at
12 points?
the point is- it's so obvious what works for this team, and a
lot of other teams too. why not do it more?
anyone notice the last 4 games fitz has a monster drive and
dunk, and then it never happens again?

Contrary to what Geno keeps saying, this team isn't built for
the 3-ball, and would certainly benefit from shooting within 15'
of the hoop. Even Sarvan has a bit of a touch from in close.
I'll take that any day of the week.
Very telling that Rocco finished the game last night, and that
he played an equal # of minutes to Fitz (18). Fitz wasn't in
foul trouble. He needs to be more assertive on the boards and
defensively in the paint, IMO.

Fitz has to play stronger I don’t think I have ever seen a 7
footer play with such little presence in the paint but yet he
will throw down a huge dunk about every game I don’t get it.

That’s on the coach. If someone on this board can see the
obvious but the coach doesn’t…

Policelli has really grown this year- looking forward to him
getting some professional opportunities. His rebounding has been
a pleasant surprise. This team would be hopeless without him.
I hope the rest of the year Rocco and Nahar get some minutes.
Nahar hitting that 3 was cool.

exactly what im saying. it's so odd.
yes, posecki has grown so much this year, and now it's
disappointing that he could've been hitting 10' jumpers and baby
hooks this entire time. when finally forced to penetrate and
score, he drops 34 points.

4-5 in the conference feels like about what we would've guessed
for this point in the season albeit not that great. That being
said, I'm starting to get somewhat excited for the potential of
some of the younger guys. Would not have guessed that at this
point in the season, Our two leading 3P% guys would be TO and
Kaine Roberts at 38% each. TO specifically is averaging 12
points, 3.5 assists, 2.8 rebounds and only 1.3 turnovers over
the last 4 games. For comparison sake, Puriefoy in his sophomore
season averaged 12.9/2.8/2.4 with 2.4 turnovers per game. Nahar
has some fun numbers in flashes too. He's now 5/6 from the line,
1/1 from 2, 2/3 from 3 with 5 assists and only 1 turnover.
Assuming Frey is actually the "best shooter geno has coached,"
this could turn out to be a nice freshman class. Let's hope they
don't transfer out.

I agree the Freshman class has looked good, and would add
Muratori to that list.
