Exceptional ball movement, leading to consistent open shots, won
the game for NE. They also shut down TSM (who had a rare bad
game) and Policelli in the 2nd half. Sarvan, Fitz, Roberts were
invisible all game. TO, along with Nahar, played a strong 2nd
half for us. Nahar, only 18, will need to beef up a bit during
the off-season.

They didn't miss a single three in the second half. We refused
to close out on them whenever they passed the ball out.
Something like 9-for-9.
That said, Pettway tried to will us back into a comeback with
all those backcourt steals. If TSM doesn't juggle Nahar's pass,
it's a 6 point game with 4 minutes to go.

I thought McClintock was awesome, probing and probing, and
obviously they were moving it well and raining in shots from all
over the floor. This felt like a game where our awkward roster –
very big, very small, little in between, and not a ton of
athleticism – left us with some bad matchups on the defensive
end.

Welcome to the CAA Geno Ford and SBU! There is a strong
possibility SB will lose 75% of the remaining games left in
conference play. I say SH should give Ford a contract extension
and a raise. He rewards coaches who underperform.

I don’t think we played bad at all last night. NE shot 63% from
3. I just looked at all other CAA games from last night and no
one shot that well, not even Charleston - they shot from 40%.
Just of course the one team who shoots over 63% is the team
that’s playing stony brook lol
