I agree don’t really get the intentional miss with that much
time left. I think policelli probably hits that shot 9/10 times
sometimes the bounces don’t fall your way.

Tough one to swallow. Good things happen when we go to the
basket. I don’t understand why we’re settling so often.

My disappointment in the loss overshadowed how impressed I was
with Pettway in the second half. He was just beating everyone to
the basket and getting those layups effortlessly. I thought he
had more than 8 points, actually. Wild to think that he was just
a garbage time last man off the bench last year.

We play a lot of close games because of the slow pace so late
game execution is crucial. Can’t have a scoreless droughts to
close out games.

As of this morning, here are CAA Kenpom rankings:
- College of Charleston - 78
- UNC Wilmington - 113
- Hofstra - 120
- Towson - 156
- Drexel - 183
- Delaware - 203
- Northeastern - 247
- NC AT&T - 257
- William & Mary - 293
- SBU - 317
- Elon - 347
- Hampton - 351

No different when SB was in the AE conference

For basketball (and everything else) this is a better conference
with better exposure. SB just won a thrilling prime time game on
CBS Sports Network! The glass is half full, IMHO

It’s only a better conference if it regularly gets more than one
team in the tournament. To say it it gets greater visibility is
wishful thinking. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Let’s
keep it real.

Even though we lost our KenPom still went up to 314. It's those
30-point losses in OOC that are really killing our ranking,
because we've only been going up for the last month.
The AE is also terrible this year with Vermont being incredibly
down, having lost to both Lowell and UNH already.
Vermont - 168
UMass Lowell - 169
Bryant - 185
UMBC - 219
New Hampshire - 287
Maine - 309
Binghamton - 317
Albany - 324
NJIT - 326

Option A: Hey recruit that we want, you'll get to play in
terrible gyms, in front of no fans, in places like Maine, New
Hampshire, Vermont and Rhode Island. Your family will never see
you on anything but ESPN+, and like every team in the league's
history, you will never have a chance at an at-large bid.
Option B: Hey recruit that we want, you'll get to play in actual
gyms most of the time, in front of up to 5,000 fans on some
nights, in places up and down the east coast. Your family can
see you on national or regional TV on occasion, and even though
getting ranked and receiving an at-large bid is a longshot at
this point, there is some history of it, with two teams even
making the Final Four in the last 20 years.
