It says something about how far this program has fallen that a
one point win at home over a middling team is cause for
celebration.

Congrats on the win. Your big got the better of ours for sure.
Our game plan was not good and you guys capitalized. As I said
before the game we are known for not keeping Williams down low
and its mind boggling. I was surprised we were dumb enough to
pull him out from near the basket since he lives there on
defense typically (and where we need him). It is also
commonplace for us to go away from something that is working. It
drives our fans crazy, but its common unfortunately. Also hate
to break it to you guys, we are not a great team, we were
predicted to be and are very mediocre. That being said, I do
expect us to be middle of the table, but that says more about
the bottom of the league than Drexel itself. You definitely have
a couple of talented players that are already CAA caliber, keep
building on that!

And I should mention that this was also a win for us in the
battle of the mythical creatures. Dragons vs Seawolves. Although
seawolves aren’t so mythical anymore after the release of
the new Netflix documentary.

Disagree. It was an exciting game, the crowd was hyped, it was
on national TV, and we're still seeing where we fit into a
superior conference. I don't think the program's fallen at all
but quite the contrary. I would be surprised if there was much
dispute with that, even if you're down on Geno, the players, the
state of college basketball or whatever. We're in a good spot.
BTW, I cannot believe they didn't overturn the out-of-bounds
call in the last second. Clearly off Policelli to me. I was
bracing for some backbreaking make to give us an L, which we
didn't deserve.
One other thing: mark this down – some game some coach is going
to tell the refs that Roberts regularly palms/carries the ball.
TSM has to watch it too.

youre both right. drexel is a good team but maybe not the
eventual CAA champion. so it's a good third CAA win at home on
national TV against a pretty good CAA opponent, while we are
short-staffed. i think drexel is pretty good but that's just
me.
1000% agreed on the out of bounds! and also, yes, i noticed
that about roberts too, especially when he slows down (over the
half line). tobyO got a little physical at times with moore and
i was surprised the refs didnt focus on that. moore is going to
be a player for DU.

Not sure if you guys follow mid major madness on twitter. They
think we have a shot at a double bye because of how the schedule
shakes out. Now obviously this team could drop any game but
think about a few months ago wondering if they will win more
than 5 games. This team is pleasant to watch because everyone
has a role. TSM top scorer creator senior captain Policelli
double double threat graduate captain Fitz solid big grad
student. The last few years it felt like everyone thought they
were the best player playing iso ball. This play style doesn’t
yield as many points but its refreshing. Lets hope we keep the
momentum going saturday.

it makes all the difference in the world. share the ball, win.
too many stars makes for 25 win seasons, and then a first round
exit- in the america east.
keep the threes to 20 and we win. i might be made wrong at some
point, but that's yet to happen on this theory. ;D

Not the 3,000 I was hoping for but 2,840 is damn close! During
winter break LETS GO SEAWOLVES. Geno and Rickard have been
coaching their butts off.
[/quote]
Their quoted attendance number is usually 50% above the real
number. The bench side upper deck was basically empty and the
opposite side was about 75% full. That doesn't add up to 2800
people.
Great win.
