Towson's just in a different class. Their offense came so much
easier than ours did. They could get it to Thompson or Sylla in
the paint, Timberlake coming off a myriad of screens, find the
open shooter, really anything they wanted to. We just don't have
that fluidity, and I feel like it's regressed the last few
games. Of course, Towson can guard.

passing. they simply share the ball. its worked since...
       naismith.
and when we have tried it- we play great.

Towson just played really well. Hitting 5 threes in a row is
tough to overcome. I think the nail in the coffin was pettaway
missing the layup. Would have cut the lead down to 7, missed
layup, Towson gets the ball and hits a 3. If we hit that layup,
crowd would have been into it and who knows what happens..
Geno said post game interview Clarke and Frey are done. It makes
me second guess our medical staff. Freys X-ray showed negative
the morning before Florida, he played most of the Florida game
and now he’s done for the season. How did they miss something
       like that ??
Although we lost, I do think if we played them again we can
compete with them. Yes they were very good but we started
       hitting shots as well.

Yikes. Medical staff needs reupholstering after this. The Noll
preseason ACL injury and hell even the original Clarke back
injury are just natural and occur by chance. But rushing them
back and aggravating the injuries even more is unforgivable.
Can't have this at the CAA level. If they held Clarke and Frey
back until they were actually ready, we would be a much better
team with them in the backcourt instead of Roberts and
Onyekonwu. Clarke was electric during the Yale game.

Really felt the lack of physicality by our bigs was the
difference. Have a ton of questions over the Frey/Clarke injury
murkiness. Really sucks because they are just what this team
needs more guard depth. Free things up for Policelli, TSM, Fitz.
Those guys really had to labor to get looks. The Thursday
Saturday turnaround will be tough saw TSM be a little worn down
yesterday is 40 minutes a night for the next 2 months really
sustainable? Going against better competition feels like we are
one guy short hopefully my opinion changes against Drexel. Lets
go SB home tilt on National tv!

i noticed that too- on both sides of the ball. i think fitz got
       rejected at one point.

IMHO, this year's team is better than last year's. Overall
better possessions and less forced shots and/or ridiculous NBA
(and beyond) range three's. Also, less defensive breakdowns and
       uncontested layups.
       [/quote]
Agreed. This years team is better than last years. By this time
last year half the team quit after shawn's brilliant decision to
announce the move to CAA ended up in a ban for post season play.
There have been at least three times this season when Geno has
played kids dealing with injury too soon making things worse.
But yes overall this team seems to be playing better this year
       than last year.
