Both wins on the road, with tonight’s collapse and overcoming
it. Great experience.. also it’s nice to see Frey not wearing a
boot, and he did post he will be back soon on his social media.
with Fanta saying last game Clarke is done for the season, does
he not come with the team anymore ? He obviously wasn’t on the
bench tonight, and posted a pic mid game of him in slippers.
Very excited for Saturday. We play well at home, and hopefully
the crowd is into it. Still lots of seats left so hopefully they
push the game as it seems they are only pushing the cbs network
game vs Drexel. Towson seems like some nights they play really
well, then other nights struggle vs teams like LIU and
Fairfield.

Really feel like an upset is in play against towson hopefully a
good crowd comes out. 3-0 heading into a national tv game at
home even though no students is a massive opportunity for the
program lets see it packed! I think this is a team people can
get behind.

Sarvan was terrific underneath in Fitz' place. I'm glad he's got
that in him. I don't recall seeing much of it to this point, but
I'll take him there over Muratori in key moments. Sarvan is, of
course, a gunner like no one we've seen in a long time, but I'll
take the other contributions. I like that Geno rode it out with
Pettway, TSM, Sarvan, Policelli and TO at the end – go with
what's working.
I thought Pettway had a couple huge buckets – the drive and
finish to make it 55-50, and then the reverse layup after the
offensive rebound by, I think, TSM. Eight sneaky boards for him.
40 more minutes too (gulp)
We played nine guys.
Some of our turnovers, wow, they were all-timers. I thought we
got bailed out a couple times with timeouts/fouls in the waning
moments. Gotta be better.
That we ratcheted things up defensively was so important when it
looked like we'd crumble. Big block from Pettway, a couple from
Sarvan, better work on the defensive glass. It was good to see.
I just appreciate the effort we're seeing.
Somebody tell Fitz that layups count for two too.

I'm not a fan of the trend where we have weak opening 2nd halfs,
we led by 15 before Monmouth tied it. I'm glad we were able to
stretch the lead back to 13 by the end, but some of the TOs in
that stretch were unforgivable. Sarvan needs to polish up and I
don't think he should get the green light: 2 for 9? Use his size
in the paint.

Small details but I like that Policelli did not take the layup
on the last SB possession letting the shot clock expire and I
like that Sarvan fouled on the Monmouth layup with three seconds
left.
