Awesome half. I don’t think Doherty knows what to do with Fitz
inside. Park him there and make Doherty try to figure it out.
Telfort too.
NU needs somebody to step up and make shots.
I like Pettway and TSM taking guys off the dribble. I liked
Policelli looking for his shot early, and Fitz’ skill with both
hands is evident again. I’d like to see Sarvan use his height
and width like we’ve seen him do only on occasion before.

Brutal brutal shots by TO and Pettway on back to back
possessions. Way too early in the shot clock. These kinds of
things can have ripple effects.

Can Sarvan just please stop shooting. Not close on any of his
0-for shots.

He’s gotta be better. I feel like he doesn’t just miss but
misses badly. And how about having an effect on the game in
other ways? Four boards in the last three games. Did not even
attempt to box out on that possession that ended with the
Pridgen putback. His size does not show up anywhere.

We just beat the team that I think represents about the dead
center of CAA-level competition. Even with the nuttiness of
these last few months we might end up a top-half CAA team when
the dust settles....In my opinion the credit goes to Geno. Takes
a hell of a coach to keep the ship together and produce an
improving product.

Wow, great win, although it looked like we were going to blow
it. TSM with a sub-par game (for him), and we still persevered.
Fitz with a brilliant first half, and Pettway really stepped up.
Policelli with strong game too. Assuming Clarke is done (he
wasn’t on bench), our young guards will need to grow up fast.
Our half court D was very effective today.

We were up by 12 and then we went 6 mins without scoring and
they made it a 2 pt game. Then we got it to 8 with 50 secs left
but god those back to back inbound turnovers were horrific.
Clarke was so needed during those.

All things told, really encouraging win. Not quite as crisp a
game from TSM as were accustomed to but really nice to see the 6
assists from him to only 2 turnovers. If teams are going to dial
in on him, his ability to find the open man will be key. Scary
news about AC. He was all the way on the end of the bench (sort
of on the baseline) in the red shirt sweats. Looks like Nahar
was suited up. Am concerned that Frey is still in a boot. Would
be nice to have him back so TSM doesnt have to play 40mpg. TSM
is up to 2nd in the country in minutes played per kenpom.
Really good chance at another Road win this week vs Monmouth
(#351 on kenpom).

Really good win great balance. A little worried about fatigue
late affecting rebounding free throws things got dicey. Hofstra
went down today to NC AT and Charleston barely survived against
towson. This team has thin margins but it has life. Sarvan he
needs to do more little things maybe Nahar can get some run.

Very good win. TSM hit that big 3 which was great. Our
inbounding scares the crap out of me. Hopefully it’s something
we improve on. We were told Frey should be good by Christmas but
he’s still in the boot. With Clarke done, once we get Frey back
who can shoot, we can totally spread the floor. Especially is
Pettaway keeps knocking down 3s. Toby also showed vs WVU he can
knock down some big 3s when needed.
Question about Clarke since he played 2 games this year, is his
college career done? (Not sure what the rules are when it comes
to ncaa and things like that)
