If that rendering comes to reality, it’s going to be a huge
boost for the baseball program. That looks amazing. In addition,
not many northeast teams can say that we also play conference
games in south. I think CAA + facility upgrade will result in
better recruiting and improved baseball performance.

I was more hyped before I read the specifics. The donor only
covered half of the $5 million, and then Joe Nathan chipped in
some more to help, but since they didn't publicize the number,
I'm guessing not too much. So Heilbron and co. still have to
raise the remaining ~$2.5M before they even begin constructing
it. That could take a long time. Especially since Heilbron has
been talking about this since, what 2016?

Just for clarity sake, the photo used as a reference has been
around since at least 2018, so they've been holding out hope for
years that a donor would swoop in and save their ass.

This was the article I remember. From 2017. Amazing how terribly
everything in it has aged. "The hope is that an official
announcement will be made by the end of the year." Six years is
almost the same as one year, am I right Shawn???
Even when they were made to forfeit a whole damn championship
game because there weren't lights, it still took them two more
years to officially announce that they're halfway to the final
goal! I forgot how much I hated Heilbron and co. until I looked
over these details again, they make my blood boil with their
ineffectiveness.
I should email this to McInnis as more evidence of how bad he is
at his job so he doesn't get any more contract extensions.

Heilbron was a safe pick after Priore, but performance wise gets
a D-. Right above Fail for keeping the engine running. Besides
all the shortcomings, I also think that he is not capable of
leading this program in this new age of NIL. We need a leader
who can raise money, has vision, has balls to make ambitious
decisions, and make use of NIL deftly. He doesn’t get credit for
CAA move from me. CAA came calling and it was a no brainer. Even
that we screwed up. Could have waited after the AE tourney to
announce to avoid the ban.

If you ask on Twitter Heilbron and staff won't reply when the
money will be raised. they know they cant get it done fast. They
didnt say how much nathans donation was so there is probably a
reason for that. No other MLB seawolves stepping up? Alumni from
the baseball and softball teams have asked when it will be done
and no answer. they are mad because they were told when they
were recruited years ago this was in the works it shows you how
bad heilbron and emrich are at raising money. the president
doesnt seem to care since they are still here.

I don’t think u will see Heilbronn and enrich raise the money
they need it’s all fluff. At least ten years away unless one big
donor steps up.
