true that this sucked, but actually i thought we played great
tonight- on the road, short staffed, but yet drawing fouls.,
beating the press, passing the ball, hitting FTs, +8 boards,
etc. Wagner is much better than i thought.
know who had a good night? kaine roberts. really coming
around.
also we got a lot of blocks tonight, probably a function of
keeping bigs on the floor.
awful 3pt % (25%). but when you only take 12, you limit the
damage. obvious???

When opponents look better than thought it’s usually because the
other team is very mediocre. This year, SB is making every
opponent seem better than they really are.

It's a Geno Ford team that we have. By the end of the season
Fords lifetime win loss record will have him losing more games
than hes won. I think Heilbron will extend this guy.

His record sucks, and he is inconsistent everywhere he goes. And
I agree. SH should offer Ford a multi-year contract extension
and raise, now before we lose him. Rewards are given to coaches
who underperform at SBU.

I thought we played our butts off. 39 minutes from TSM, 37 (37!)
from Roberts. Policelli with his second double double in the
last three games and fourth of the season. And we were still
getting back when Wagner pushed the tempo.
And let's be real here—we're saying we had seven guys, but we
really had only six. Muratori really isn't giving us much at
this point—maybe someday. So to be in a position to win with
only six guys getting notable minutes? I have to tip my cap.
It's too bad though. The game was there for the taking. I was
going to point out that we didn't make a shot from the field in
the final six minutes, but with all the fouls, we only took two
(TSM wing three, TSM baseline jumper; both pretty good looks).
Clarke may have made the difference, but I'd rather he and
others be ready for conference play if they're compromised. That
said, our rotation has to be running on fumes and I don't want
them compromised either. It's a difficult situation—not sure
I've seen anything like it.

Coming from someone (me) that is tired of the "we played hard
til the end" SB moral victories, I though last night's effort
was terrific. Hopefully, we get four players back healthy going
into conference play, and I think they can be competitive.
