The rebound difference is discouraging, but is there a reason
especially against a smaller team that the ball does not go down
into the post to Fitz on every possession?
Post-up Sarvan too, just to keep him away from the three point
       line.

its the death of this team, going back about 15 years now. its
the reason we cant win a game of any import. but racked up
       plenty of 20 win seasons.

This is so hard to watch. Horrid shooting, and how many layups
was Policelli unable to finish? It’s a shame that at 6’7”, he
only has a 6” vertical. Clarke looks he’s playing at about 60%,
and may have aggravated his back again. Our biggest obstacle may
not be winning another game this season, but being able to field
       a team.

       its completely different now.
in the second half we erased the 9 point deficit, and took the
lead by... get this... passing the ball. we looked like an ACC
team for a few minutes there.

nice game for pettway. he's really coming along when it was
       probably expected he'd be supporting.
btw SHU nice traps on the half court press. if we had depth we
could use that in the CAA. a couple of their shooters
(gillette, solomon) have a really nice outside stroke.
this game is the perfect microcosm of what not to do (1st half)
and what to do (2nd half). if you dont believe me, check out 16
       point swing. pass the ball!!!

The passing was certainly better, but I thought the key to 2nd
half was getting the ball to Fitzmorris in the paint. Nice to
see Sarvan showing some touch from the outside to complement.

You may not be able to use the rebounding as a gauge (sigh) but
the sense of urgency was tangible. A win right there for the
taking, and the guys took it to Sacred Heart. It’s somewhere to
       start for us.
Really awesome night for the bigs. Fitz hit a three, had two
dunks, hit a lefty jump hook and a had a couple other buckets.
He’ll never wipe the glass clean (really? 1 rebound?), but he
gives us some much needed offensive punch. He changed a few
shots on the defensive end too. I liked the emotion too, trying
       to get the crowd involved.
12 for 15 from two in the second half. Sarvan had three gigantic
threes too, but I really liked it when he backed down his
defender and finished with a jump hook in the paint. A few big
boards and I liked him at the 5 defensively.
Policelli didn’t have a banner offensive night, but I feel like
he gives us some toughness on the glass and defensively. Nine
big points after halftime, including two putbacks that felt
       huge.
TSM played all 40 yet again. You hate to ride a kid, but we
really need him out there on both ends. I feel like Clarke
played hurt; he looked hobbled on occasion.
Pettway – very pleasant surprise. His athleticism is quite
noticeable, and it’s so key because we really lack it.
There will be minutes for Muratori somewhere, but not tonight.
He just couldn’t keep up with SHU’s more athletic “bigs” on the
       perimeter.
Brutal crowd – maybe the worst I’ve seen – but they were vocal
       in the key moments.
