Bryant will be a tough out but the next 3 after that would like
to see some wins. Go into conference play with a little
confidence

Wow night and day difference with Clarke. Seeing him blow by the
first defender every possession down the stretch and get to the
line reminded me a bit of Puriefoy. Really opens up the kick out
3 when you can break down your defender like that and the
numbers back it up: 11-20 (55%) from 3, 19 made FTs to 13 for
Yale, 13 assists to 12 turnovers, Tied in the rebound battle at
34 a piece. Hopefully this a sign of things to come. 8 pts/8
rebounds/0 turnovers is a nice line for Pettway, he wasnt on
anyones radars coming into the season. 21 and 7 for TSM, he's
just 4 free throws shy of his career high.
Just feels good to see some progress..

Wow, I didn’t go to the game in part because I didn’t think it
would be close. Other things to do, etc. But this has been very
entertaining. It’s great when shots go down.

Same with me. Decided to stay home and watch college football
instead

Haven’t heard the arena that loud in a while. Was great to
actually hear everyone into the game. A pretty cool stat I seen
on Twitter is - Stony Brook entered 359th nationally in 3-point
% (23.6). Yale came in 3rd in 3-point % defense (22.7). Stony
Brook finished 11-of-20 from behind the arc.
Loved Clarkes energy. I also loved how he and yales pg Mbeng
were going back and forth talking, good old New York basketball
conversation. Not sure how much I believe Geno’s press
conference of him saying Clarke hasn’t played at all since
tonight, because he played damn well. He also said clerkes still
weeks and weeks out at the press conference after st joes, so
who knows what to believe when he gives timeframes.
I can’t wait for Leon and Frey to come back. If Frey is as good
as a shooter as Geno claims he is (best shooter he’s seen in 5
years), we should be able to spread out the court, and TSM or
Frankie won’t see any double teams as well.

Thank goodness this basketball team looks respectable. After the
disaster of football, the university is in dire need of positive
energy. However, I have no idea what they're going to do next
year since half the squad graduates but that's a problem for a
different day.
