I'm always impressed with the SB announcers and their
preparation

What did they say about TO? Precautionary thing I hope.

I was at game so I didn’t hear what announcer said but was told
he broke his nose. Also heard that Clarke will get a few minutes
possibly on Saturday.

Injury report shown on the broadcast today:
Dean Noll (ACL - Out for season)
Sabry Phillips (Achilles - Out for season)
Leon Nahar (Foot - Out Indefinitely)
Aaron Clarke (Back - Out Indefinitely)
Jared Frey (Toe - Out Indefinitely)
Toby Onyekonwu (Nose - Out Indefinitely)...They said on the
broadcast probably 4 weeks.
So if I'm reading the tea leaves they've dropped correctly, the
out indefinitely guys should be back for conference play.

I don't know what "indefinitely" means but, whatever it is, this
is just brutal. It's crazy how everyone's being forced not only
into action but into major major minutes. And then what happens
if we run into foul trouble?

It’s interesting with Freys injury because the X-ray showed
negative before florida, and then he still played although
limping. I hope he didn’t make anything worse.
Listening to the post game conference, it seems we’re really
just going to be saving everyone until conference, if they are
able to go.
Ford said Clarke is still a longs away, so I guess he won’t be
getting any minutes Saturday

Any chance this vagueness on clarke is for a strategic
advantage? Bring him back to catch a team off balance for one
game

Stony Brook men’s basketball breaks three-point record
HTML https://www.sbstatesman.com/2022/11/30/stony-brook-mens-basketball-breaks-three-point-record/
[quote]After losing its last four games in blowout fashion, the
Stony Brook men’s basketball team snapped its losing streak by
breaking the program’s single-game three-point record.
The Seawolves (2-5) drained a total of 17 three-pointers in
their 89-48 win over St. Joseph’s at home on Tuesday, shattering
the previous program record of 14. That total had been equaled
four times but never surpassed, and was most recently reached
last year against Central Connecticut.
The Seawolves continued their dominant play into the second
half, where they outscored the Golden Eagles 43-15. As a team,
they shot 53.3% overall and 55% from three-point territory in
the second half. They made 11 three-pointers in the second half,
helping them surpass the previous record.
In other news, freshman guard Toby Onyekonwu missed Tuesday
night’s game with a broken nose that he suffered during
practice. Ford did not specify a timetable for his return, but
did say that he will likely be out for “a while.” As for guard
Aaron Clarke, he has not yet returned to practice. He is dealing
with a back injury that he suffered before the season began.

The highlight of this season so far is they thumped a D3 team at
home. Let’s see if that remains the highlight after it’s over.
