Finally starting to work it inside. Guards need to start closing
out on the 3's

Time out at 9:22, after a few good possessions, SB has cut it to
6, somehow...anyone want to prop bet the next shot SB takes is a
3?

Defensive rebounding in a zone is a challenge, in that you have
to race to your area instead of just turning and boxing out
(because there might not be anyone in the area to box out).
Again, they'll learn that if they stick to it.

you know more than i do, but i was thinking that a zone (the
ones i know) is inherently tighter to the hoop and less
stretched on the perimeter. also, the backside should be
helping in the paint, and wing shots often rebound opposite.
but i certainly will go with your take as you are more qualified
than i. i learned something today!

Whatever the result is today, we’re competing our asses off. I
can get behind that.

I guess I agree, but these are games under Ford that SB
typically loses...

Well good teams win great teams cover (+12). Would've liked to
hold it to single digits but the story of the game is 0-10 from
3 from Sarvan. Nice game from Onyekonwu. Is he already better
than what Jordan Mackenzie ever became?

Sarvan policelli aren’t ice cold this is probably a win. Love
the teams fight blowout brown and its a decent trip.

agreed on that, good intensity all around. and good ball
movement, at times.
youre the coach. your team missed 24 three pointers (one every
fifty seconds). and was outrebounded. you lose by 10. do you
rethink this strategy? tell sarvan no green light at 0/10? its
not like he's in a natural shooter's body, or position.
then again, even pikiell gave sturdy a green light, when he was
our only bona fide big. that didnt work out though.

Happy with that 2nd half performance. This team has some guts
and should improve as the season progresses.
