I see much better movement without the ball than in years past.
We never screen and rolled but we’ve seen that too. At least get
the defense thinking about action toward the basket rather than
one ball handler being everyone’s focal point.
Loving TO and Pettway. Don’t know whether they can shoot, but
show me energy and teamwork and that’s a great place to start.
The threes are still out of rhythm. An indictment on URI is
they’ve been able to step into theirs and they’ve still missed.
Their bigs have done moving it diagonally to a wide open shooter
against the zone. Meanwhile, ours have felt rushed and/or
contested. Policelli’s last one is a concern because I feel like
the three’s the only one way he can affect the game offensively,
and he can’t feel pressed to take them if they genuinely aren’t
good looks. Let’s see if Geno tries to get him going early.

we should review efficiency as well, and thats being generous.
i know were down a few guards but we can't have pollicelli
handling the ball. or shooting (0/3 and that's kind). with 1
board and 2 TOs, how does the staff justify any more minutes.
sarvan is 0/7 from three, but 1/1 from the field. any
consolation boards? nope. more minutes?
the only reason we are in this game is because of layups, dunks,
and a few midrange jumpers.
also, when you have FOUR seven footers, you can't get
out-rebounded by mighty URI 21-12.

Defensive rebounding in a zone is a challenge, in that you have
to race to your area instead of just turning and boxing out
(because there might not be anyone in the area to box out).
Again, they'll learn that if they stick to it.
They should be taking away the threes. Again, on tape this'll be
glaring.
