McInnis was not hired for SBU sports. As a matter of fact it’s
quite the opposite. McInnis was hired to increase SBU diversity
and inclusion. . That’s not a made up fact, it’s true. Just
follow her on social media and read what she writes.

Stony Brook:
#114 ranked scoring offense in FCS (out of 123 teams)
#82 ranked defense
This is not the resume of a program that takes football
seriously. For reference, CAA newcomer Monmouth has the 8th
ranked scoring offense this year. Disgusted is an
understatement. I have season tickets for my local Big East
basketball program now and I really don't have much desire to
root for SBU.
Heilbron has a football crisis on his hands.

Priore seems so much more accurate and fitting.

There will be no press conference announcing the 2 year
extension they will just carry on as business as usual but
expect many assistants to depart by being fired or going
elsewhere

Priore has all these swamp creatures eating out of his palms…
it’s never the fault of his own. Oh, no.. it’s everybody else’s
fault why this program sucks year in and year out.
Responsibility starts from the top, not the bottom, and for
Heilbron to give Midget man a two year contract extension , rest
totally on him and the entire SB heads. McInnis is part of the
swamp now too for signing off on the extension… We are done for
good with this program.,SBU football deserves everything it gets
and I really hope they abandon the sport like Hofstra did…

im not nearly as down on the program as everyone else here is...
but, i ponder if this thread is the what most of the fanbase
looks like (arguably true?), then sure no one is happy.
if the season ends and we are 1-10, with waning attendance and
the transfer portal, that's not a good look. especially given
we have to pay to watch, the facilities we have built, full
entry into the CAA, etc. i thought we'd be 4-7 or 5-6 at best.
i was way off.

All you have to do is fire Coach P. Pretty much anyone would be
better at this point. Get rid of him and all of a sudden this
program starts trending up.
