If a coach leads this turd of a season and gets an extension,
then this athletics program is a lost cause. Again I’m not
giving a dollar to this program until Heilbron holds some of
these coaches accountable for their crappy results.

The only bright side is that I live Port Morris, Bronx so it
wasn't too bad.
But to get beat around by Fordham is embarrassing. No other way

yes this was hard to watch but on the other- fordham is pretty
solid, no? i think a little credit is due. don't look at the
name- look at the results on the field.
otherwise hard to read how much people are upset when in fact
this is what some of the fans actually wanted... GO SB

Ratings have their limitations but provide interesting
comparisons. As an example, SBU now rated by Sagarin below three
Pioneer League teams. As a reminder, the Pioneer League is
non-scholarship.

McKee's final line was 18-36, 239 yds. I didn't watch the second
half, and garbage time inflated his stats a bit, but he is
already the team's leading passer on the season after 1.5 games.
Also, only two games last year did Fields pass for more yards.
He didn't keep up the 400 yd per game pace of last week, but his
WRs did him zero favors. Lots of well placed balls that were
dropped. He's able to fit the ball through tight windows.
I wonder what would have happened if Priore just went for it on
4th and 1 on the opening drive. You were at the Fordham 40,
Demorat is going to score anyway, Lawton was still healthy at
the time, stop being such a coward. Maybe scoring first could
have changed the momentum of the game.

When you’re up against a superior team, and especially one not
known for great defense, you take reasonable chances on 4th and
1. Not doing so is poor coaching, plain and simple.

Last year we were better and Fordham had no problem beating us
31-14. We stink this year and Fordham is better so the beatdown
is to be expected.
Holy Cross (now ranked 7th in the FCS) and Fordham permitted
seniors to return and use their Covid years (Patriot League does
not allow ordinary redshirts). That includes DeMorat. Those two
teams are NOT your parents PL teams. Yes, the rest of the PL is
awful.

Three of our next four opponents are pretty horrific, but
they've still got five wins between them. I gotta think we can
get one of these somehow, which, of course, would be sad to
celebrate.
