Wow. McKee up to 15-21 for 144 yards and a TD on that drive. Our
first second half points of the f*cking season. This just makes
Priore look like even more of an idiot for not even having him
in the QB competition to start the year.

McKee is tue real deal. Why didn’t Priore start him is beyond
me, considering he was an early recruit this year

17/23 in just under a half. before that we were 3/7. at least
now we have some balance to keep the defense guessing.

Sorry lucking into McKee should not let Priore keep his job. I
want McKee with a new coach next year. This clueless coach
somehow wasted the first four games of the season. McKee has
done more in 2 quarters than what SBU QBs have done in the other
4.5 games!
He’s still gotta go. Heilbron cannot extend a coach after a
disastrous season like this.

Ok boys. we lost. but at least I have some hope now.
I agree. More reason to fire Priore. Dumb QB competition to
start the season when Mckee clearly looks best. Oh well.

So in one half, McKee gets 190 yards, which is more than any
other Stony Brook QB has gotten in an entire game this season
(Bryden had 186 at UMass). The sky is the limit for him under a
new coach. One that knows how to actually develop a QB.

Priore has to be fired the second this season ends. The optics
of extending a coach after a season like this is just awful.
The Athletics department called me Friday for a donation. I
remain uncomfortable giving my money to be stewarded by someone
like Heilbron who likes to reward mediocrity.

I'll admit, I didn't watch a single snap of this game. Though in
reading this thread it sounds like McKee is legit and should
have been our QB from day one. So now we're in a position where
we're 0-5, the season is completely lost, but we've just found
our QB? Only this imbecile of a coach could mess up this badly.
Why were Bryden, Zamot, etc even getting field time if we had a
kid this good? 190 passing yards in a half? For what we've been
as a program we might as well have a Big 12 offense with that
kind of stat line.
Coach P has to go. I don't care if we win out the rest of the
way. This is unacceptable and Heilbron should be let go too if
this extension talk is true. How do we play this out if Mckee
really is that good since this year is totally lost? If he's as
good as you guys say, we won't be the school getting his
remaining three seasons if we play him the rest of the way this
year.
