UMass has 65 passing yards … in two weeks. Fans on the message
board are conscious that it’s going to take time under the new
regime, but in the same breath expect the professionalism at the
top to win this one for us. We/UMass (I’m an alum) got blown out
last year by URI and Maine, on homecoming and senior day no
less, so nothing is taken for granted. We/Stony Brook (I’m a
resident/employee) should absolutely be in this.
QB play is just such a question mark on both sides that I
envision seeing a lot of Merriweather and Lawton. Like a lot.
Hopefully SBU has used the last two weeks to clean up some
things on the O-line, which was just a sieve against URI.
My allegiance leans UMass here. The program needs it.

I would feel more confident about this if we had an actual QB.
UMass is horrific but it's possible that Priore and us are even
worse

I don't care if they're FBS, they're statistically the worst
team in FBS this year. We should absolutely win this one and get
our 2nd FBS win in program history.
I'll be even more disappointed with Coach P if we don't win this
one. Umass is frankly terrible.

UMass seriously has the worst punter in the NCAA. If the best
you can gain is 20 yards net on a punt, why bother? I'd go for
it 100% of the time.
