Tell me Campi. What has Priore done to warrant a 4-year contract
Extention? He's been a failure to this team since they left the
Big South.

Delaware beats Navy today 14-7 behind a new coach.
Coach P has been with SBU for 18 years and he's still losing to
Rhode Island and will have ass handed to him by UMASS.

I feel for the kids on the team
For some really bizarre reason, Heilbron still has faith in a
guy that has nuked all the momentum this program had. Extending
Priore would be an embrace of mediocrity. For a guy who talks
about "winning" all the time, he clearly doesn't care if he
keeps rewarding losers like Priore.
I'm not giving a dime to this football program if he extends
Priore- I can't imagine I am the only one.

As terrible as the last extension was (Priore should have just
walked after 2018), I can at least see a justification if I
squint my eyes and be as optimistic as possible. He was coming
off back-to-back playoff runs and maybe looked to have finally
solved the code of how to do well in the CAA. I didn't agree at
all at the time -- and obviously it was a horrific decision --
but I can at least see why Heilbron would have.
This time? There's not even that tiny sliver of reason for it.
The program has stagnated and doormat programs like URI are
demolishing us at home. You have a large enough sample size with
what Priore is now -- and what he is is just endless mediocrity.
We've seen his ceiling, and it's not good enough. An extension
now would be deliberate self-suicide. On our way to four
straight losing seasons since the last extension. Even if he
barely scrapes into the FCS playoffs by some miracle, even that
isn't good enough.

I can't imagine Priore would have been extended again without it
being announced on the SB site.

Bias much??? I feel like I am reading a Newsday Article.
According to this article coach P is getting an extension,
because SH and P have a plan??? I was told recently he already
got an extension, but whatever. I feel like fans really don't
care anymore. Once the weather turns a little cold, crickets
will be sitting in our seats anyways.

program.
What do fans have to look forward to if he comes back? Absurd
