Here is what I know from players and from parents who have
expressed their thoughts directly or in messages to other people
that I have personally seen.
Players have alleged that they don't like playing for Priore and
other coaches on this staff. That they have had to watch Priore
belittle coaches in practice and they have seen players
belittled too. Promises were made and broken and that happens
everywhere but the methods used which pitted players against
each other. Facilities are poor and over the past two years
conditioning has been controversial. Several players and parents
have said this. Also players have said that before halfway
through the season that coaches had acted like they had given up
and were just going through the motions. Players also said the
lockeroom was lost early in the season and a part of it was over
the weekly unknown decisions about the qB position.
2-9 and multiple losing seasons. It doesn't matter what the
coaches or players think. This is the state of the SBU football
program and the ad extended the coach months ago. And now you
have all of the productive players in the portal going to other
schools. If someone wants to defend the coaches who mock players
thats there business. That doesnt change the fact that the
program is in the toilet and the ad has given a two year
extension. Everyone on here was saying it would be nuts to
extend Priore. Then they found out he was already extended.

I dont think this subject needs to be censored or shutdown. Free
speech is essential to learn and teach others, and to find out
what’s going on behind close doors. God knows this university is
far from transparent

are on the same page how can the AD justify keeping this
coaching staff especially after going 2-9. Does he even know
that all these players are leaving or maybe he doesn’t care

If Rob Noel is telling a player in November, 2022 that he will
not start next season? Heilbron knows the players are leaving
and he has met with some of them. The players have to be
political and not say. Some will say but Heilbron is the ad and
if he is not smart enough to figure it out i'm not surprised.
He hired Ford and he extended Priore. I lost faith in this guy
as the ad a long time ago.

With all these players leaving they are going to have about 30
scholarships to give out and that would be okay if a brand new
staff was in place but with the same staff it doesn’t make any
sense
