We're doing this Ivy League style—two games in two nights.
I'm not positive I'm going to get to this in time, so carry on
amongst yourselves!

Five games left in the (regular) season...win all five and
likely SB will end up with sole possession of second place and
20 wins...still a good goal.

Jenkins (oral surgery) and JRod (undisclosed) both done for the
year. Other Roberts playing as backup point.

Just listened to the presser. JRod left the team; he’s not
injured. That means he won’t be back as a grad student next
season. And sounds like Jenkins left team too, despite his oral
surgery, he could have come back for last game, but chose not
to. Surmising that JRod was pissed that ARoberts played 40 mins
with Jenkins down at umbc, and he was still coming off the
bench.
Add them to the long list of kids who’ve quit over the last
couple of years (Olaniyi, Foreman, Garcia, Latimer, Gueye, JRod,
Jenkins(?), Shumpert brothers, Otchere, TPP). Not good. Mission
control we have a problem here heading into CAA.
Nice win tn for the guys left. Greene is a stud, Roberts has
taken it to a new level, TSM playing real well, and improvement
from Policelli. That’s pretty much who’s left to come back next
season, if they decide to do so.

Sad how many players have quit on Ford, definitely not a good
coach and needs to be replaced ASAP before we loose everyone
else.

This is really turning into a $hit show at the university and is
a total embarrassment and black eye to the school. Serious
consideration needs to be made about replacing SH and cleaning
the house. New conference, new AD, and coaches. But that is only
a pipe dream.

I mean, you see people transfer out all the time, but all these
guys leaving the team midseason is just such a bad look.
You can’t blame this on being ineligible for the tournament
either. Do they just want to stay healthy to keep pro
opportunities alive? Did Jenkins just want to get to 2,000
points? Or is there something wrong on the inside—a coach, a
player, a program, et al?
I’m not an insider but I gotta think it’s the last one on the
list. And it’s embarrassing. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Agreed, 100%.
I called this last year how I saw dark days ahead for this
program, and it's happening now.
This school is so secretive about what's happening on the
inside, we are all just guessing what is going on. No
transparency. No communication. No state of the Athletics
department. No anything.
If SBU wants to be so secretive about everything, then fans will
be quiet when it comes to attending games.
