Announcers weren't great but summed up Geno Ball ... "SB doesn't
really have an offense. Just give the ball to someone and let
them handle it."

Missed the game. Did they really say that? Not the first or
second or third time a commentator has remarked about that. What
an indictment of a coach.
That’s not going to do anything about giving up 95 points but
it’s such a glaring weakness to even a casual fan.
Caught the women’s game instead. They’ve got a lot of talent and
I love how they move the ball. Langford is going places. Her
plays out of timeouts got open looks every time.

That is the one thing they got right. Sad that the America East
ban is going to bail Geno out this year: if these were the
results even with no ban, his ass would be on the hot seat
pronto. He should still be, but if this school is going to cry
poor over a million dollars, I don’t have faith since it means
they’re not schmoozing enough with the donors for the cash.
I didn’t catch the Jenkins comments. Out for the season from
wisdom tooth surgery? That makes such little sense to me.

Geno will definitely get an undeserved pass...he'll get one next
year too with the transition to the new conference .

LOL. I missed that from Jenkins.
Clearly, the seniors have given up on the seawolves and have
thrown the towel in. But what about the school? They gave up on
SBU and their free scholarship!! Why should the university
suffer because of something that is out of the school's control?
If a player gives up on playing a sport they were given
education for, then that player needs to leave. It is that
simple.
I do feel bad that the seniors got screwed for something they
didn't want. But now the University is getting screwed because
senior athletes, who essentially are getting paid with free
education, is now given up on their school.
This whole thing is a mess, and SBU AD should have figured out a
way to resolve it for both the school he is employed by and for
the athletes.
