Aside from committing assault or something crazy like that, I
can’t think of anything worse for Olaniyi to have done to just
       completely ruin his entire image.
I had looked at it before the season started, and if Elijah had
averaged 16-17 PPG and played every game, he would have ended as
2nd leading scorer in D1, maybe even all time Stony Brook
history. You think if he had done that and led SBU to a tourney
berth, maybe he even would have gotten his number retired or
       gotten NBA looks.
       What a fall from grace.

Besides the obvious negative impact on the players and seniors
of this team from the tourney ban. Another is that this most
likely leads to a Geno Ford extension.

i just hope with eli it hasnt soured the relationship with the
       U. it would be nice to see him come back and be in the stands
and supporting the program. i have no idea if that's in the
       cards now...

This has to be the worst half I’ve seen all year. The kids have
given up. The coaching staff has given up. To allow for these
random heaves on every possession is deplorable. Absolutely
       pathetic.

Sorry, I can't feel this way about it anymore. Unless there's
something more to it ... but if it's something petty and he quit
or got kicked off, then that's just about that as far as I'm
       concerned. [emoji111]
I was actually thinking more about his brother. That bridge is
real shaky if not burned ... again, unless there's something
       more to it.

Wouldn’t be shocked if this free fall goes the rest of the year.
Totally checked out don’t blame them they have been failed by
       the adminstration and the conference.

Geno Ford should be run out of town for allowing his players to
       give up

What a way to show your new conference how strong this team is.

Geno Ford should be fired on the spot for allowing this to
happen. He is the Joe Biden of college Basketball. Inept and
       full of nothing!!!

Elijah will likely never step foot on campus again, and that’s
his own fault. He chose to burn every bridge he had with this
school, and he’ll have to live with it. Not like I’d think he’s
       too upset about it.
