2011/12: Game 21 Stony Brook vs Binghamton

So coming of from that great game last friday the team now has
to turn the page and try to remain perfect or near perfect for
the rest of the season to secure that 1st seed. Win-less
Binghamton is the next foe coming to town and they are hungry
for that first win, so its time for Stony Brook to start playing
good basketball consistently. After Binghamton the road will get
tough with games at Albany, New Hampshire, Vermont, and
Hartford.

Seawolves win by 12 at home against Bingo!

The focus has been on football, and rightfully so this week. But
if SB doesn't beat Bingo, they simply don't deserve to win the
conference. I'm sure Pikiell has his team on notice, as they
lost to Fordham a couple of years ago (albeit in the
Bronx)...one of only two of Fordham's wins that year.

I think we might have a let down after last Friday but we
have enough to win tonight, especially on our home court.

A first place team needs to take care of business when the play
a last place team. It would be nice to see them get hot early
and
never let them into the game. I would like to see a large
rotation tonight (if we can get out ahead quickly) this would
allow us to
see how the rest of the team is progressing. I still think
Lenny will get hot and have not given up on Bracey. It would be
nice to
see a few guys have breakout games.

Unbelievably dominant game by the Seawolves tonight. Our bench
almost had more minutes than our staters, and Pikiell never
called a timeout. If nothing else they should be well rested for
Albany on Saturday.

Bracey never checked into the game tonight. Pure speculation on
my part but rivals claims we are still recruiting HS
seniors-could Bracey be leaving the program thus opening up
another scholarship?

Bracey wasn't technically dressed tonight. He had warmups on,
but so did King and Mayo... Not sure why he didn't play. My
gut says he's injured, only because I can't imagine he's as bad
as he's showed.
The game went the way it should have today. Bing did not look
like they cared tonight, and that is entirely on their coach.
He didn't coach them, he just kinda stood there occassionally
yelling at his guys to do something. It was really a shame to
watch. After tonights game, I really would not be shocked to
see them go 0 for 2011-12.

I'm also a Bingo grad (M.A.), so while I root for the Seawolves
I don't like seeing Bingo spanked that badly. But it bodes well
for SBU.
