- Worst loss since losing 96-58 to Hofstra in December 2016.
- Worst home loss since our first home game as a Division I team
– 84-43 at the hands of St. John's in November 1999

I realize your are referring to margin of victory, but SB's
worst home loss, IMHO, was the first round loss to Binghamton,
under "Already Packed My Bags" Boals. Boals, of course, is the
gift that keeps giving, because not only did he start SB's
current downward trend, he left us with Geno, who seems to be
intent on finishing the job.

Did Wagner become a sleeper basketball powerhouse or are we just
trash?

We can no longer afford to have Jahlil and Juan (both 6'0") on
the court at the same time with Policelli at the 5. Need to have
a more physical lineup. Here's what I propose:
1st Line 2nd Line
PG Jahlil Juan
SG Roberts TSM
SF Tykei Shumpert (elijah slides back in to first line
when healthy)
PF Policelli Habwe
C Sayles Christie
This gives us 3 guys over 6'5" and 4 guys 6'4" or better at all
times.

They’re gonna be a problem for Penn State on Wednesday. Give me
whatever points you want to, Vegas.
43-27 on the glass so that theme continues. We’re just going to
bounce off these physical teams; it’ll still be a battle but we
ought to hang in OK in the AE. Christie was somehow one board
away from sharing the team lead with Policelli.

I do appreciate what Boals did for us — the rest of that season
before the Binghamton game was magic, I haven't felt that great
since Warney left. The way he left us, though, was dirty AF and
I lost my respect for him. I still would take him any day over
Geno, even if I think he's an a-hole.

i almost wrote this exact post after the kansas game (of course,
with olaniyi healthy). id switch habwe and policelli though. i
think omar is our spark plug, an often most valuable player on
the floor, and needs double his minutes. very athletic and 100%
effort, a multi-tooled team player. i said the same last year.
we really were caught without paint depth on this roster. that
makes us even more one dimensional, and even easier to defend
than we already are. sure we might turn in another 20 win
season, but what good is that when you exit in the first round
of the sh*tty AE tournament. every year.

Any way you juggle the line-up, SB will have trouble
scoring/defending in the interior and will almost always be
out-rebounded. Geno (I guess) figures his best option is to play
his best scorers and race to 80 points. Once we get to
conference play, it's hard to see a lot of success for this
approach (even with Olaniyi), but I am not sure if there are any
better options with the current roster.
