Wouldn’t they announce if he is done for the year? Good win last
night American was pretty bad but i think this team is coming
along. Lets keep it going really hope the attendance picks up.

Stony Brook never announces anything about the athletes. Fans
are always left in the dark

He got hurt in the Sacred Heart game, right? I was rewatching
when he got taken out for good and I don't see anything that
looked that bad. He drove in, barely missed the layup, and his
forward momentum pushed him to the ground. He was limping a bit
after that but it just looked like an ordinary minor fall.

that to happen...
anyone know what the eligibility implication is?
the good news, if any, is that we are deep this year. of
course, that doesnt make up for losing a player like him, even
if temporary.

He never took a redshirt year, which means that's still open.
Olaniyi was only eligible to return this year due to the covid
eligibility extension. I believe he can choose to redshirt, or
if misses the rest of the season due to injury, can apply for a
medical waiver and go for another year.
