We're on a long list of schools that has reached out to Myles
Foster, formerly of Monmouth. He'd fit in nicely.

The first Johnnie hits the portal – Rafael Pinzon. I gotta think
we're an underdog in his sweepstakes, but he'd be a heck of a
get if we did.

I would really love to get him and curbelo if he enters the
portal but I doubt we go after a pg with Clarke and Noll? Unless
I’m wrong (which I hope I am)

while id normally agree with you guys- these days, with the
portal, twitter, a pandemic, and just overall impatience- all
bets are off. nothing really should surprise me anymore.
wonder if StJ bball can become the hofstra football of 2010...

Snoddy came to fruition, so let's put another name out there for
discussion. This is pie in the sky stuff. Pure guesswork.
We gotta get tougher inside, and I'm hoping that the
Policelli/Snoddy swap will be a wash on the glass. But we still
gotta get tougher. Wider.
Looking down south, everyone from East Tennessee State's in the
portal after their coach was shown the door. Eight guys in
total. Among them is 6-8/255 F Jalen Haynes, who started at
Virginia Tech and then moved over to ETSU, where he averaged 15
and 6 last year. Haynes gives me Warney vibes in that not
everything is pretty, but he has soft touch around the rim, can
finish with both hands, and isn't easily moved off the block. He
might be like the kid Noah Collier who gave W&M some oomph
underneath this year after transferring from Pittsburgh.
Might Avery, a former GA at ETSU, tap into that network to get a
guy like Haynes? Or are Haynes' sights set higher? Otherwise, to
address our lack of wings, perhaps rangier guys like Jeremy
Gregory or Kordell Charles could help?
Or maybe he calls Jason Shay, his former HC at ETSU, and it's an
in with Lucas Taylor, a former three-star who never established
himself at Wake Forest. You think about Fitzmorris biding his
time at Stanford before making an impact here. We can be that
landing spot for P5 guys looking for an opportunity.
I sit here and speculate.
