I think this time it’s different and I will tell you why this is
his last year on his contract and I think he will announce that
he will retire before the season begins and so that being said
he’s going to want to go out with a bang and now that JMU is
gone the CAA is wide open.
This is my opinion and think about it all these transfers that
have been brought in and by the way he is keeping a couple of
scholarships for kids who transfer after Spring Ball

From what I’m hearing about Eric Black he has one year of
eligibility and he will be the best DE in the CAA next season

Too bad he will only be here for one season. Black will be an
impact player immediately for SBU

Chucky P also thought there was a QB "contest" between Jack
Cassidy and Tyquell Fields a few years ago. Zamot may be the
default starter just based on seniority, but if Charlie McKee is
all that he's hyped up to be, he should earn the QB1 job with
ease. If Zamot starts a game for Stony Brook, we are in trouble.

My thoughts exactly.

While we’re not strong in terms of returning QB’s, the jump from
Nassau football to CAA football is huge. Even more so at the QB
position. I’d be shocked if true frosh Charlie McKee is the
opening game starter. I’m sure we’ll get a few leaks regarding
his talent (and chances of seeing the field) when spring
football cranks up.

I get the feeling Josh Zamott is going to be SB starting QB this
year. We saw a glimpse of Zamott over a two-year period, and to
be honest. I think he is horrible. But, As we all know coach P
believes in starting upper claaman over freshman. I just hope
McKee doesnt transefr out if P doesnt utilize him

Don't understand why the Seawolves would go after anopther QB,
with Mckee, Bryden amnd Guttieri all with likely excellent
seasons ahead of them.
