Is this McKee kid expected to start as a freshman? He feels like
a really good prospect.
Hard to judge given the state of football (quality of
competition) here on LI - he certainly racked up the passing
yards.
I spoke to SH about this at the Homecoming game, and he felt
that McKee would be a first-year starter. But, I told SH I hope
Coach P doesn't run him and make him sit on the bench for 3
years.
Looking at his Twitter feed, he notes D1 offers from
Stony Brook, Monmouth, Brown, Central Connecticut, and LIU.
I was actually hoping he would have some more offers from the
one you mentioned. Maybe from bigger name FCS schools. Like UNH,
RI, Delaware, etc.. Or even an FBS school.

I know Temple was very interested at one point. Spoke to a
couple of sources over the summer connected to the program and
they said at one point he was close to an offer but decided to
go in a different direction.

As a point of interest recruiting for the 2022 Class is going
very well as so far 5 scholarship players and 8 PWO. Over the
weekend at least 8 JC Players from California were offered.
So in spite of how we feel about the program it’s not hurting
recruiting

They also offered AJ Roberts, a Pitt transfer with 4 years of
eligibility. Two of the JUCO players, Kordell David and Allen
Henry, hold more than one offer from FBS programs.

I cant wait to see what Charlie brings to the table next year
for SBU. If coach P doesn't start him as a Freshman. All hope is
lost. I could see Charlie transferring out.

McKee has to start. Hopefully Chucky won’t even be around to
make the decision, but what’s his other option? Joshua Zamot?
Come on.

Sadly yes. i absolutely can see Zamot being a starter over
Charlie. Upperclassman.
