SBU 2022 Recruiting/Commitments
By: Campi47 Date: June 8, 2021, 7:33 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
I’m starting this post so that as a group we can talk about who
they are recruiting and who has committed
They already have offered at least a half dozen HS Football
Players so far, however today they offered the best QB not only
on LI but one of the top players in the state in Charlie McKee
of Oceanside HS and in my opinion they have a very good chance
of signing him

Below are the players Stony Brook has already offered. I only
list FBS schools that have offered the player, or a top FCS
school such as JMU or NDSU.
Joden Nelson - six FCS offers
Nik McMilan - Toledo, Buffalo, UMass, Akron, Central Michigan (a
couple of FCS offers)
Vincent Rotelli - first offer
Devin Grant - Army, Buffalo
Charlie McKee - first offer
Jude Buchanan - first offer
Wayne Knight - a few other FCS offers
Justin Kanyuk - Charlotte, Maryland, Liberty, UNC (10 FCS
offers)

Next Wednesday will be their 2nd Prospect Camp and expect some
high end talent on the SBU Campus. I will be there because I
want to see Kaloni Trotman one of the best linemen from William
Floyd and Andre Blagrove of Malverne will both be there and both
could walk away with offers

I would be very surprised if Chucky actually lands McKee. He is
a stud

A source with connections to Temple football told me they’ve
been interested in the QB for a while now, and will most likely
offer him sometime over the summer… The source has been reliable
in the past, but I’m not 100% sure on this one.

I’ve talked many people and McKee is an FCS Scholarship Player
so if he wants to go FBS he will have to walk on so I really
believe whether it’s SBU or another CAA College that’s where he
will sign

SBU is desperate for a real QB. We haven't seen that since Kyle
Essington. But, If coach P continues to do the pound and ground
game and calls these hideous "run up the gut' on 3rd and 8. SB
will never have a decent QB who wants to play here.
