i think if what we've been doing hasnt worked, change it up.
perhaps the lineup above achieves that, i dunno.
it worked for vermont. it worked for albaNy. heck it even
worked for us (once).
we also know what HASNT worked for us.
if the AEC ate us up in the tournament, what do we think the CAA
will do- during the reg season AND the tournament.
so what do we do next?
i'd put TSM out there, clone tykei greene, and then two bigs.
pound the ball inside. how hard is a baby hook every now and
then.

Thirty-three total minutes across those 18 games. Six points
against five turnovers in that same time frame. Let's not
pretend this is some magical signing that will push the program
to the next level. It's SBU giving someone one more year to
"play" college ball, just so Geno Ford can say he landed a
Stanford transfer.

We know he hasn't made the rotation at Stanford, but he's only
had 2 years playing years and missed his junior season with an
injury. He'll have 2 years left at Stony Brook with a medical
redshirt for last year. It's an unknown commodity, but we
already have a safe bet with Sarvan. I like it

I'll stand by my comments, but for the sake of Stony Brook
basketball, I hope you're right. It's hard being an alum, seeing
the school come somewhat close every year, only for one or two
things to ruin the entire season. And it really does not help
that they have an HC who is better off working as a fixer for
politicians, or as a PR spokesperson for some big-time company,
because he has multiple personalities, and spews bullshit. It's
a sad state for the team, even with the excitement of moving up
to the CAA.

I strongly believe this school has absolutely no care whatsoever
about sports, but more about academics . Listen. This is a
university. Students come here to learn and get an education,
right? My son is. Even though he hates this school with a
passion. Buts that story is for when he graduates, I’ll indulge
about that later.
For SH to hire and retain a coach like Ford clearly tells me
they have other plans on their minds but won’t tell us. Even
with keeping Priore. Why??? Why the Hell are they allowing this
guy to stay to the end. Well, I’ll tell you why. It ain’t about
winning games, playoffs, trophies. Nope. Politics baby.

Looks like we picked up a kid by the name of Andrew Heiden.
There really isn't much out there on him so it gives me a
walk-on vibe.

Looks like the Seawolves have filled the remaining MBB slot left
open by the departure of Tykei Greene. '22 SG Jared Frey from
Columbus, OH and the Andrew Osborne Sports Academy has commited.
Looks like an excellent shooter, but haven't seen anything of
his defensive skills. The good news is that he had previously
been offered by Miami (OH), Toledo and Ohio U. (pretty good
company).

He looks like a really nice add to me. I like that he appears to
have filled out and, while he's a shooter, can also put it on
the floor.
He's got a younger brother, Peyton, who seems like a lunch pail
type of kid. I'm not sure what kind of college looks he'll get
but maybe? What's sad is that these announcements used to mean a
lot—we got a kid for the next four years! Now with the
transfers, and the soon-to-be unlimited transfers that players
can make, we're really only guaranteed next year.
