I just hope he is not another Chris Christie. A 7' bench guy. We
cant afford to waste a scholarship on players like this because
       he is 7'

In four years, Fitzmorris only played in 18 games. Missed an
entire season due to injury and another due to redshirt.
Thirty-three total minutes across those 18 games. Six points
against five turnovers in that same time frame. Let's not
pretend this is some magical signing that will push the program
to the next level. It's SBU giving someone one more year to
"play" college ball, just so Geno Ford can say he landed a
       Stanford transfer.

Yup, I agree. I believe this is a waste of a scholarship.

Yeah, Chris Christie had a hard time jumping weighing in at 300+
       pounds :)

We know he hasn't made the rotation at Stanford, but he's only
had 2 years playing years and missed his junior season with an
injury. He'll have 2 years left at Stony Brook with a medical
redshirt for last year. It's an unknown commodity, but we
already have a safe bet with Sarvan. I like it

Agree. If he was good enough to be offered by Stanford, he's
good enough for Stony Brook to take a chance with him. By no
       means a wasted scholarship.

O.K. Looks like Coach F. and his staff must have heard me.
They just got a commitment from JUCO SG/W Sabry Philip out of
Navarro Junior College, and from Edmonton, Canada. He's another
guy that hasn't played a lot, but certainly moves well and could
       be a steal.

can anyone take a crack at what the roster looks like? or is it
       still in flux?
